Hanging L-sit (hold)
Coreintermediatetimedpull-up bar
Hanging from a pull-up bar with straight arms, the straight legs are raised together until level with the hips, forming an L, and held still.
How to do it
- Grip a pull-up bar overhand about shoulder-width apart and hang with arms fully straight, legs straight and together.
- Brace the abs, tilt the pelvis slightly backward and raise both straight legs until they are horizontal.
- Point the toes and hold the L without swinging; the torso leans back only slightly.
- Lower the legs slowly at the end of the hold. Easier: tuck the knees to the chest.
