High knees
Full bodyeasytimedno equipment
Running on the spot with an upright torso, each knee is driven up to hip height (thigh parallel to the floor) while the opposite bent arm swings forward, landing lightly on the balls of the feet without travelling.
How to do it
- Stand tall, feet hip-width apart, elbows bent about 90 degrees.
- Drive the right knee up until the thigh is parallel to the floor while the left arm swings forward and the right arm back.
- Land the right foot lightly on the ball of the foot under the hip and immediately drive the left knee up with the right arm forward.
- Alternate quickly; torso stays upright, gaze forward, no forward travel.
