Inchworm
Full bodyeasyrepsno equipment
From standing, fold at the hips with straight legs to put the hands on the floor, walk the hands forward to a high plank while the feet stay put, then keep the hands still and walk the feet forward up to the hands; the whole body ends further forward.
How to do it
- Stand with feet together, legs straight (knees soft).
- Hinge at the hips and fold forward until the hands are flat on the floor just in front of the feet.
- Walk the hands forward in 3 alternating steps (about a forearm length each); feet stay planted, heels rise as the body lengthens, legs stay straight.
- Stop in a high plank with the hands under the shoulders and the body straight.
- Keep the hands planted and walk the feet forward in 3 short steps, legs straight, hips rising, until the feet are close to the hands.
- Roll up to standing; you are now further forward than where you started.
