Incline push-up
Chesteasyrepsbench or step
Push-up with the hands on the edge of a bench or box and the feet on the floor behind, so the straight body is inclined; the elbows bend to bring the chest to the bench edge and press back up.
How to do it
- Stand facing a bench (about 40-50 cm high); place both hands flat on the near edge of the bench, slightly wider than shoulder width.
- Walk the feet back until arms and body are straight, only the balls of the feet on the floor; body is one straight line inclined about 45-50 degrees from vertical, arms roughly perpendicular to the body.
- Bend the elbows (pointing back about 45 degrees from the torso) and lower the chest to touch or nearly touch the bench edge.
- Push back up to straight arms; hands and feet stay where they are, body stays straight.
