Wall shoulder taps
Skillshardrepswall
In a chest-to-wall handstand the body shifts its weight onto one straight arm, the free hand lifts and briefly touches the opposite shoulder, returns to the floor, then the other side; feet stay lightly on the wall.
How to do it
- Walk up into a chest-to-wall handstand, hands ~15-30 cm from the wall, toes on the wall, body straight.
- Shift the weight sideways onto the right hand by leaning the shoulders slightly over it; right arm stays locked.
- Lift the left hand, bend that elbow, and tap the right shoulder (the opposite shoulder); legs stay together on the wall, hips do not twist.
- Place the left hand back in its original spot, re-centre, then repeat on the other side.
- Gaze between the hands throughout.
