Wall walk

Shoulderseasyrepswall

A wall drill done for repetitions: from a push-up position with the feet at the base of the wall, the feet walk up the wall while the hands walk back toward it until the body is vertical with the chest facing the wall, then the hands walk out and the feet come down. It builds the shoulder strength and the comfort upside down needed before holding the body upside down at the wall for time.

How to do it

  1. Start in a push-up position with the feet against the base of the wall, facing away from it.
  2. Step the feet higher on the wall one at a time while walking the hands back toward it, arms straight, core tight.
  3. Stop when the hands are about 10-20 cm from the wall and the body is nearly vertical, chest and belly facing the wall; pause briefly.
  4. Walk the hands out and the feet down the wall back to the push-up position; that is one repetition.
