Yogaeasytimedno equipment
From Mountain pose, the straight arms sweep out to the sides and up overhead, parallel with palms facing each other (or touching), shoulders away from the ears, with the legs and pelvis unchanged.
How to do it
- Stand in Mountain pose, feet together or hip-width, weight even.
- Inhale and sweep both straight arms out to the sides and up until they are overhead, shoulder-width apart, palms facing each other (or pressed together).
- Arms beside the ears, elbows straight; shoulders drop away from the ears.
- Legs stay straight and feet stay flat; ribs do not flare and the lower back does not arch.
- Gaze forward, or tilt the head back slightly to look at the thumbs without crunching the neck.
