Chin-up
Backeasyrepspull-up bar
Hanging from an overhead bar with an underhand grip about shoulder width, the elbows pull down to the sides until the chin is over the bar, then lower to straight arms.
How to do it
- Grip the bar underhand (palms facing you), hands shoulder width or slightly narrower; hang with arms straight, feet off the floor.
- Keep the torso nearly upright with the chest lifted.
- Pull until the elbows are down at the sides and the chin is above the bar; elbows stay in front of the body and close to it.
- Lower slowly to a full hang with straight arms. Hands stay fixed; no leg kick.
