From a high plank on straight arms, one knee drives forward under the chest while the other leg stays extended back, then the legs switch rapidly in a running rhythm; the hands stay planted and hips stay level.
How to do it
- Get into a high plank: hands flat under the shoulders, arms straight, body straight from head to heels, on the balls of the feet.
- Bend the right hip and knee to bring the right knee under the chest; the right foot lifts and hovers (or lightly touches) under the hip; left leg stays straight back on the ball of the foot.
- Switch in one quick motion: right leg extends back to the toes while the left knee drives forward under the chest.
- Keep alternating at running pace; the hands never move, the hips stay level with the shoulders, gaze at the floor slightly ahead of the hands.
